Was doing some work to the "Old Girl" today (fitting VDO EGT thermocouple) and have realised my first aid kit is not up to scratch. After using ALL the band aids and betadine solution, then the eyewash and the panadol, I need a new one! What a PIA removing that damn heat shield is, I have more cuts and bruises from that than any other job I have carried out on ANYTHING mechanical. On a happy note though, the gauge works a treat and there are no exhaust leaks
