    failed radiator cap??

Hey all, my 2012 CRD truck is running hot and coolant is going somewhere. Its not in the oil and the coolant is also OK. I have been all over and the only thing I can see is the over flow container (the one on the LHS of the engine bay) has coolant on top of it. Apparently the radiator cap on this container is a common failure point. I have a new one ordered. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm cautiously optimistic that the new rad cap has solved my issue. Did a 120K drive this morning and everything looks to be back to normal. BTW. The temp gauge on the dash is useless. If I didn't have a ultra gauge monitoring the coolant temp I would have not known about this until it was too late.
