Gu no reverse lights

Hey everyone.

Not long got my first patrol its an 03 gu st. Im having dramas with the reverse lights cant seem to get power at rear or in cab. Its an auto but no idea whats happening any help would be awesome

I'd be checking the reverse light switch first to see if its actually working.

Also check for a relay in the engine bay. My 2004 4.8 has a reverse relay on the passenger side next to the air filter.

At least on the manual transmissions, the reverse switch is drivers side at the front of the gearbox on top of the bellhousing...absolute mongrel location.

Make sure the plug at the switch on the 'box is properly connected.

The reverse light only works on the passenger side on right hand drive patrols or is the passenger one not working as well?
