Another bloody glad I checked before swamping departure scenario folks.
The old highway GQ’s hard breather OEM gearbox’s to front diff line was folded and dangling
Picked up a fancy bit of plastic/alloy before lockdown:
Decided to modify it a wee bit for a worse case scenario too by adding a slight water lock u-turn theory:
I’m sure it could get mounted higher like up top of the snorkel or indoors but this should hopefully do for now

Put half a shed junk checker plate box to use as a heat shield from the pissy little Safari turbo:
Baby compressor and new catch can fitted up pretty well:
Will have to play around a bit more with hosing for both contraptions during the week before taking the plunge into drilling holes through the new airbox
Pretty happy with the catch can drain, should be able to rest a little empty Berocca bottle on the coil tower whilst waiting:
