Fitted a 90 bend to the oil feed on the new turbo as the original line was too close to manifold, much better now!

Booked into Exhaust Fix to make up a dump pipe and I'm officially back on the road as of tomorrow.

I'll book it in to get a dyno next week on the 10mm pump and see how this performs.

I had a stupid autometer probe put into the exhaust after the dump pipe using the clamp and ceramic washer when I first got the vehicle.

I want to do things properly now tapping into the dump pipe of course so do I have to start fresh with a whole new set up or can I get a different probe to suit my existing set up, wiring, autometer gauge, etc?

My battery also finally died during this build, finally not holding charge at all!!

Had to roll start to get it to exhaust shop today..... .07 of a volt after charging for a week!

Being a long time coming unfortunately so just purchased a new Bond battery from Patrolapart.

    It's never ending...lol

Yes you can buy another probe. Is there anything wrong with the probe you have? They should be able to weld in a bung to suit it and it would be a direct fit.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

I need to have a good look at it as its in the back of the car, the exhaust shop just asked me to find this out first and I just got home so no idea at this stage mate.

Maybe my probe built for ceramic washer and clamp style can't be used in bung thread application?

Nah the chances are it is screwed into a bung designed to be strapped on like you had it, you should be able to unscrew that and have the bare probe with thread ready to be install with any option. Mine was like that at least.
