    Seat swap - 8 seater?

    Hi,
    I have an 09 ST wagon, but have rather a lot of kids, so was considering swapping the front passenger seat for a DX bench. I know it is common to swap the other way, but has anyone done it like this? Obviously I will have to get engineering approval to go to an 8 seater, has this been done before? Alternatively, is it possible to put 3 seats and belts in the third row?
    Thanks!

    The bench will bolt straight in and you should have no trouble finding someone with a Ute interested in swapping their bench for your bucket and console. The drivers seat remains unchanged.

    Call an Engineer off Department of Transport list and ask them what they need. Tell them your swapping Nissan seat or Nissan seats and it should be easily done I'd have thought. The QLD Engineers are pretty good and a Blue plate should be straight forward.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
