The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    Hey Rossco,

How did you get your sticker kit and did you have to pay for it?
I sent ARB an email trying to score some freebies and they forwarded me to their stockist and he wants almost $100 for the sticker kit...

I just emailed warn direct and asked for a kit. If you need a hand finding an address i can try and have a look, think i just got it off the website tho.

They were awesome. Sent out a full kit pretty quickly and sent through a sevice manual too all for free☺ pretty good!!

Yeah if you can get an email address for me that'd be great! Thought I remembered you saying they were freebies.
I just went to ARB because they are the Australian distributors and Warn are based in the US.

It's funny how ARB wanted $76 and that is for me to wait two weeks, then drive to Morwell to pick them up. But Warn US are posting them to me for free.
I felt like replying to ARB's email and saying no thanks, Warn are just sending me some

Long time coming, but finally finished off the old high mount. . . Well finished for now I guess you can never stop with these things if you want, but anyway pretty happy with it now.

Wired up the isolator, manual switch to the redarc isolator to join the batteries and switches up front on the bar.

Put some led strip lighting under the bar which gets power from the isolator. (May have stolen this idea). . .

I shortened the rope 10m too. 40m is too much and would cause dramas I reckon. Had a go a splicing the off cut for a short extension. Looks pretty good but will have to give it a test soon.
