    Show us your barwork...

Hi all.. Just wandering who out there has built there own barwork.. I'm thinking of knocking me up a set of sliders for my new bus.. Only thing is I've moved into our new pad and I can't use my jd2 bender, compressor or welder cause there all 15amp.. I have to call a sparky up to put in a new 15amp outlet at the new joint.. I knw excuses excuses... Anyone in Perth or even the Nissan patrol club over these ways have a shed with a 15amp outlet and space send me a p.m... I think it could be beneficial for a me/other members to do a meet and greet/workshop and knock out some barwork.. Potentially saving a lot of dollars compared to buying off the shelf items.. Could also learn a lot along the way and would also be a good networking opportunity... Anyways don't won't to carry on.., here's a pics of a rear bar I did for my 80...

I think it's a great opportunity to have a crack at building your own barwork... I'm a chippy by trade but metal is so forgiving.. If u stuff it up u can just grind it back and Reweld..not barwork but a ratted out frame/drift trike I built...

never seen any of Ontrack's work, so cannot comment

Yeah Hayfab has been keeping a very low profile on faceache for a while. Again haven't seen the other guys works but can vouch for XLR8 fabrications.

You can build pretty much anything if u have the right tools for the right job... I'm gona be building me a rear outboard carrier and some sliders as soon as I get my 15amp power installed...
