If you want efficiency you have 2 choices. Buy a prius or a diesel.
To be fair, the 14-15L per 100km many TD42 owners get is hardly state of the art fuel economy and not that much better than my TB42e on the highway at 18-20L/100......especially if you factor in the higher cost of diesel.

Last trip pulling our Van 1300 Kg's we got 456 K's out of 105 Litres of LPG (23.026 Litres per 100K's ).
Usually obtain 18/19 Litres per 100K's without Van
16 Litres per 100K's on Petrol
    This is a 4.5L

I just tuned after fuel injecting & turbo charging a mates TB42 carb GQ with 33's.
removed the Gas setup but kept the 120l gas tank for long range trips and trickle pump to the main 85L tank.
He drives about 1100km's to QLD and then back to NSW every few weeks.

His last trip took back a 1200KG trailer load, when he got there he said the fuel economy was just a fraction over running his NA unloaded.
NA was averaging 23L/100. We can't tell you exactly as I'm trying to source him a new odometer/speedo assembly. (If anyone has a spare working one it would be muchly appreciated).
