Quality trailer hub, brake and bearings

Looking at putting new hubs and brakes on my trailer after a bit of an incident yesterday.
I need something that is quality as this trailer does a bit of work carting wood out of Brindabella so it gets punished a bit...lol

\Currently I have 5 stud hubs but want to change to change to 6 so it suits the Patrol wheel as well. I will need mechanical brakes as well or might even go to an electric type

I'm a bit lost on the bearings though as there are SL, LM, ford, holden bearings and I have no idea what they are

Anyway, what is a good quality brand of hubs brakes, bearings etc.

On my caravan I have ALKO gear on and I'm pretty sure its good quality.

This is the thing im looking at http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/XTRAIL-el...ht_8847wt_1186

Couple of pics from yesterday....and YES I had to unload the whole trailer of river rocks on the side of the road so I could move it...not happy...lol

Get japanese bearings (Koyo, Timikin etc) It will be cheaper if you go to an industrial supplier like BSC or SKF. You just need the inner and outer race diameters. I cant help with the hubs and breakes though

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Usually the hubs do have holden or /ford bearings.
Might be worth while if time allows to put bigger /stronger bearings
in place with some bearing buddies any engineering shop should be able to mod
to suit. Strange everyone building these socalled off road trailers, me included
are doing so on cheap little bearings

    What caused that failure?????
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
