Agree the insurance companies are pricks, I had a head on on a dirt road with another 4wd that overshot a corner because he hit the skids and went strait.
Same thing, 50/50 blame because there was no center line. I was expected to miraculasly manoeuvre my car out of the way.
Mate, my work is doing repairs for insurance companies (building), and there is no way they should increase your premiums or your excess because you made a claim.
