We slowly made our way to Bowen and booked into a caravan park to recharge everything. All 4 batteries are down and haven't been driving enough to recharge and the 125w panel can only do so much...haha

Went out to " the patch" this morning and bagged out on mackerel in about 45 minutes. Dolphins and whales cruising around the boat.....what a morning...haha

Havent updated for a while now. Well, we're slowly moving south .
Left Bowen last week I think and went to Airlie beach. What a beautiful place!!

Unfortunately we pretty much drove in and drove out as it was too crowded and too many tourists for my likeing.. Hahaha.
So we went to Mackay for a couple of nights to relax and to give the boys a bit of a play in the water park

After that we went to Sarina ( town with a big toad)

Pretty amazing that nothing at all goes to waste with the sugar cane, and I mean nothing at all. This tour is highly recommended and has free grog and sauces tasting at the end
We then headed down to Carmilla beach to get smashed by the midgies(sand flies) but the effort was worth a couple of mud crabs and a couple of grunter

Oh here's one the little inlet just of the main beach
We got to Rocky last night so we'll see what's happening here but will probably stay at Yeppoon
