    I studied Hap Ki Do and Ai Ki Do on and off for many years. Started the day I gave up the smokes just over 23 years ago (and havnt had one since) My kids got me into soccer about 8 years ago and played goal keeper up until 12 months ago when I got my second blood clot in my left calf. Thats under control but will not play again. I now referee.
    Just about to jump into my next Patrol. A 2001 GU II TB45E .

    WARNING!: Do not ever use a towball as a recovery point. They are not rated and can become a deadly projectile during a recovery if they snap off, and they have done so with tragic results in the past.

    You lot would not know a real sport if it jumped up and bit you on the A..RM.
    Back when I was young and fit I played Pool at the local pub for a Schooner a game, most games won in a row was 18 and then crashed in a heap under the table.
    Took a lot of training to get to the top of my sport, beer and smokes were compulsory and of course to odd disagreement, not a sport for the faint hearted I will tell you...LOL

    agree apollofish. great sport, and the scenery is awesome. there's a great little swim called the bloodybigswim. 11k frankston to mornington. you can do it in a team and its always a ripper event. similarly, the sorrento to portsea swim. usually has a big current running oceanward at swim time to push you along.

    Never much good at sport to be honest. But did find a couple that i did and did very well.

    I was Keen and very quick on Rollerskates as a kid and got to State Level before loosing interest and discovering girls.

    When i was living in Papua New Guinea in the early 1990s i certified as an Open Water Diver and Lived it for a couple of years in some of the Best diving water in the World! Little did i know at the time but it was the Mecca of Diving. Was living in Wewak where the Japanese surrendered the Pacific Campaign so the underwater War Wrecks were amazing and everywhere. was doing 10 Dives a week. I could free dive and hold my breath to 5m for 2 or 3 minutes. Got and kept me very fit.

    When i got home i went diving in Victoria and too my Horror the Water temp went from 29 in PNG to 15 in the Bay and water visibility went from 50m to 3m and i lost interest damn it.

    I got my Motorcycle License at 25 and lived down the coast and spent the next 5 years getting Very Bloody Fast on a Big Bore Motorcycle on the Great Ocean Road. I missed my calling. If i had discovered Riding at a much younger age i think i would have been very competitive and should have gone Racing in a big way. I had a big crash at 32 and bounced on my head at 160kph up in the Snowy Mountains and it gave me some perspective, then my Kids arrived and my priorities changed.

    Now 4 wheel'n is what i do and hang out here. Still go as Hard as i can though
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    Nah just 2 black thumbs and a head ache I went over the bars and between a Corner marker pole (2" gal post) and a white post (4 feet apart) and over a 4m embankment.

    I had Just done a set of 220kph sweeping corners and came over a rise into a reducing radius off camber corner at 200 for a 60kph warning corner. Not so good Stood the bike up and washed off what i could before making a wish.

    Very very lucky.

    I used to be pretty good at swimming. My grandparents (who lived next door) had a 15m long pool, used to be there everyday. Was always very good at school swimming sports, made it to state level 5 times out of 6.
