    td42 fuel gauge is not working

    td42 fuel gauge is not working
    whats some things that could be the problem wich i could fix it to get it working again??? any help would be much appreciated.

    is it on empty or just stuck on last reading? it could be the float in the tank could be stuck worn?

    i have the same issue with mine, it is stuck midway and the previous owner said that it had been that way for years
    how difficult is it to pull out the tank and check the float and senser?

    GQ wagons with TB42 have a port through which the sender etc is accessible, in the floor of the load space. No need to remove the tank etc

    I bet the the TD42 GQ is the same, but don't know for sure.

    Pull up the carpet and have a look?

    Yes gq td42's are the same setup.
    Lift the carpet in the rear remove a panel with 4 screws then you can access it.
    assuming it is a wagon .
