Mine is a late 1985 LWB Deluxe 5 speed wagon with SD33T, all stock standard. I use it as a daily driver a few months every year.
Taught my son to drive in it and he can now jump into any vehicle and handle it with ease.Even the RTA examiner commented on the benefit of him learning on an old school vehicle.

I've definitely got a couple of screws loose own a MK AND a MQ..both wagon however one is going to be used as a donor for the other..parts are as rare as hen's teeth here in NZ. Don't even start me on how hard it is just to get a friggen manual

I love my MK, im on number 3, the other 2 were just donor mq's though. cheaper these days to buy a whole car for bits then to buy individual
Know what you mean about the parts..local nissan and parts dealers absolutely love my MQ.
How much dosh do you have? I'll send you one! Are you actually in Napier, or is that the closest main town to you?
