Gu Auto Towing limit
We want to buy a Gu 3litre Auto but have found out they can only tow 2500kg, this a problem as our van weighs 28ookg loaded.
The question is what can be done to up the tow capacity as we have no choice about getting a manual for medical reasons. Any help will be greatly appreceated
You might contact a Auto transmission specialist to see if they can do anything for you. Legally upgrade the transmission to tow your van and supply certification ? Alternatively buy a used 4.2.

Not sure where you are from, but Give Wholesale Automatic Transmissions in Victoria a call, they should be able 2 steer you in the right direction
