2008 GU VI DX Wagon - aka Bruce v2.0

Hey Everyone

The weekend before last I picked up my new toy. It's replacing the petrol 80 series I have - once I service and fix a few lil bits and pieces on the 80 it will be up for sale.

It has 2-3" of TJM lift in the rear
Steel Nissan bullbar
HID Spots
Uniden UHF
Silly avenger sidesteps
Kaymar rear bar with dual wheel carrier
LRA sub tank
Window tint
Dual batts and power to the cargo area

Mods to come in the future are:
Level out the front with some more TJM gear
Get rid of the silly sidesteps and replace with genuine ones - the maybe some sliders in the future
And the 31" duelers will be put on the 80 and the 33" KM2s from the 80 will end up on the GU
Look at losing one of the rear arms to make it easier to get into the cargo area








So that is the 4WD - the camper will be a 2011 GIC Offroad which i will order and pay for once the 80 series sells

Got my 33s on Sunday Bad news is that they have robbed the only bit of power the ZD30 had - oh well will need to address that if I can

Then took it out and had a play in the local forest







I was by myself so nothing to serious, just fluffing around. I did manage to scratch one of the sidesteps...........LOL

Very nice Patrol there Nick even if it is a Gu, great photos there thanks for sharing them with us.
Before I updated from my 2007 Gu CRD to my current 1988 model Q I spend a bit on money on increasing the power of the U.
2.75 turbo dump into a 3" straight through exhaust, DP chip and the bloody thing flew, entered a comp with it, was up against 5 fully modified Comp Trucks some of them were V8s and beat the lot of them in the time trial.

Sweet Dogman, exhaust was the 1st thing on my list. I'll see if i can get that past the minister for war and finance at tax time. As for a chip, not sure I can get that amount of coin released.
I also wanna get a the provent 200 catch can and a scanguage II so I can keep an eye on things but mainly boost pressure.
