Not real sure but I think about 8/10psi.

Putting the plate back in will lower your EGT's.... Or drill an 8mm hole in the guts of the plate. This will equalise the pressure in the EGR valve and making the ECU think its working. While your not totally blocking the EGR, you will be slowing it down a lot still.
Time for a bigger intercooler and better bonnet scoop. This combo will certainly help.
definitely do the exhaust and block egr that will help the temps. but I think what a few of them are getting at is have you checked your maf sensor. anyway past that I have an auto with bd2.75 egr block and steinbauer and at 110 im sitting about 320 degrees . and from what im reading now is that I should be doing a new intercooler with a new larger intake air scoop which seems to be the bomb
Needs more boost should see 15psi that'll drop the temp down also dropping a gear driving at about 2500rpm will keep temps down too.i hardly ever used 5th gear on my old zd30 and never used it towing
Anyone recommend someone to fit the EGR plate in the Queanbeyan / Canberra region that knows what they're doing? As I said the last bloke just took it back out cause he couldn't clear the check engine light.
If you are going to drill a hole in your blanking plate, clamp it well and
use a slow speed, SS doesn't like fast drilling it will burn and melt your drill.
Clean up with a 4" grinder, the hole tricks the ECU into thinking the EGR is still working
