Poor service from a Wrecker
Ok, I cant hold this in any longer:
This is my dealings with a NISSAN SPECIALIST wrecker:
(the wreckers responses are in bold)
I was in need of a throttle postion sensor.
Emailed some wreckers and one said yep i can help.
I wrote another email detailing exactly what i needed (carbi for 91 TB42 Auto INCLUDING a throttle position switch)
He said he had a whole carbi so I said yeah ok i'll take the whole thing.
I then phone him to make absolute sure that he was including the TPS.
Yep ok all good so i paid that day. (2nd of September)
It took 3 weeks to get from Vic to North Tas, ok i waited.
Finally arrived with no TPS! I phoned and told the wrecker.
He said "I supplied a complete carbi of a gq, like you asked for"
I said "its not complete..."etc.
"nothing was taken off it mate, thats how we got it"
"it might not have had it when you got the car but the TPS is the bit i really need. I specifically asked for it verbally and in email. The carbi is clean where the TPS has recently been taken off, i can send you a photo if you want"
wrecker says "do you have a photo of the TPS so i know what it looks like?"
"No, but dont you even know what it looks like?"
"theres lots of sensors and things, i dont know what they all look like"
"What!?" im getting a bit annoyed by this stage "you told me the carbi was complete and included a TPS and now you tell me you dont even know what one looks like?"
"can you get a part number for us?"
"ill see what i can do" (not my job i think!)
so i got the part number etc faxed it through to them and phoned the next day. The guy said "the part will probably be sent out this afternoon."
1 week later i phoned to see how far away the TPS was. They told me that it was on his desk and would probably be sent tomorrow as they had to wait for a gq to come in.
Another week later i phoned to see where it was. they said its been sent but has been returned twice because they cant deliver to a P.O. box. I said just send it to the same address as the carbi was sent to(?). Anyway i supplied the address again. The wrecker said that it would be sent straight away.
6 days later i phoned to see how far away it might be. "it was sent monday" and hung up on me.
I finally got the package today.
In the package I got: A carbi off a D21 Navara and a seperate Throttle position switch that turned out to be the incorrect one.
I phoned again to let him know and asked him what was going on over there.
He didnt want to know and just put me on hold for a while.
I rang back (angry now)
i said "all i want is the TPS that i asked for in the original email"
"i supplied you with a complete carbi, whats your problem?"
I started reciting my dealings with him at which point he cut me off and said "send the carbi back and ill refund your money"
I said i would but i dont trust you....youve told me bull$shit everytime ive talked to you"
"So you want the parts and your money back. What planet are you on, your a Bloody idiot"
"No mate i just want my F---ing TPS that i paid for 42 days ago"
To which he replied "How about you go buy another car you F---ing loser" and hung up on me!
As you would understand, if that guy was anywhere in my state i would drive there and do something stupid!!!
Can i please name this wrecker?
