my old man had 'one of the other brand' from 1973, new, with rust :-). Anyhoo, when the donk died, he decided to go the 350 chev route. That was an adventure including rocker covers blowing off on start up. At one stage he had a quadrajet carbie that had vacuum secondaries. When they opened up you could hear the induction roar at one end, and a sound like $2 coins falling out the exhausts at the other. (that latter could have been imagination :-) )
