I noticed a 'sticky' asking new forum members to introduce themselves before asking questions, so this is me doing just that.
My name is Michael Findlay, I'm 65 years young and have inherited my Patrol from my farmer father, Ian - He was probably a member but died more than 10 years ago.
I'm in the middle of giving the old 1999 GU ST 4.2 Diesel, Coil Cab a new lease of life. Dad bought it new but I've had trouble verifying exactly what version it is. I've removed the gas addition, cut out some rust and added new paint where necessary. I'm not sure of the turbo which my son messed with before I realised what he was up to. A weird development is that the Chassis number does not meet expectations - but that's the subject of a future question, and I'm just posting to say gedday.
