    Exhaust help !

    Hi All
Recently installed a 3inch turbo back exhaust (with cat & hotdog) in my ZD30CR sounds great runs terrible
Feels like I've taken a step backwards, less responsive , even bigger turbo lag.

Been told its actually running in limp mode, but no engine light is on, is this possible ?
Also been advised a Tillix boost control kit will fix the issue ?

Appreciate all the help i can get, I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff...

    Thanks all

I had the same. You will have to go with a dawes valve set up or risk over boosting your engine.

Yep. You need to add some manual boost control in now to fix all this.

It can run like crap without an error code, I've done it when I forgot to tighten an intake clamp.

there are two blanking plates available. you can blank at both ends to reduce intake/exhaust turbulence. The intake side goes under the EGR volume control valve (if you're wondering)

There are various manual boost control options, I have the HPD type only with no needle valve. I have a bung tapped into the steel intake pipe above the turbo for boost reference.

You have to do both at the same time, blank EGR and manual boost control and as I recently learned keep the vacuum solenoid connected to the wiring harness otherwise it WILL go into limp mode.
