I could not do without my drawers, Patrol drawers are usually filled like yours and my work Ute drawers are filled with tools.Some people don't like having draws. I must admit that I too sometimes think of losing them, but when you can pack all this and still have another draw. I'm happy with that..

IMHO, drawers are amazing for work, singles and couples touring also up to a week tops off grid.
Not trying to be harsh it’s just the honest reality of Mr Nissan’s woeful GVM allowances on GQ & GU’s I only know.
An added 80kg of steel in the back to house merely what two say 40-50L plastic tubs can do truly does hinder a family of 4 trying as best as possible to remain road legal over a 1-2 week period with fuel/water/food/spares and of course extra slabs/cartons still capable
