Cool Engine over heating at high speeds and air conditioner blowing hot air at low speeds

Hey guys my name is Gary, I live in South Africa.
I have a Nissan Patrol Y61 4.2 naturally aspirated diesel, I call her Slowly but Surely.
I fumbled on to this site looking for solutions to a problem with engine over heating at high speeds and my air conditioner blowing out hot air at low speeds while off road. Unfortunately I did not find the solutions here but after pulling the majority of my hair out and trying everything including flushing the radiator and re-gassing the a/c, I eventually worked out what the problem was and thought i would share it incase anyone else has a similar issue.
It was due to the foam insulating rubber on the a/c pipe work and between the main radiator and aircon radiator which had been eaten completely away by rats causing major losses from the pipe work and airflow issues through the radiators. Once I replaced the foam it solved both of my issues 100%
