I use google drive for storing data online which costs me around 2 bucks a month for about 100gb(you get free extras when using their products)
Obviously you can't link pics to forums, etc but I find it very useful and can download and upload to the forum pretty quickly

I just use Paint, cut and past, crop and resize , but it is only good for thumbnails. Hopefully AB has rectified this.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

There might be some tricks you can do this as below mate.

And now with our new mod it would keep it local too...

If you're bored give this a try...

I don't ( besides trying photobucket a times years ago ) and probably never use a 3rd party for pic hosting for this very reason. I only really upload photo's 2 three places on the net, here, a reptile forum and FB. FB is fair the easiest 2 upload 2 but still prefer 2 upload directly 2 the forum as it resides on @AB's server then and if something goes wrong then i can punch him in the neck, and know its more likely 2 get fixed rather than deal with other 3rd party companies.

Out of curiosity, you don't rely on 3rd party companies for backups do you???
Time is never wasted when your wasted all the time

So is there a way for me to upload a photo directly to the forum using Tapatalk? Or will your new gadget do that for me?

I don't have any control of any settings with forum apps but yep, with the new fangdanglegadgetthinggy we are good to go with any 3rd party images hosted on the forum moving forward.

After a couple of weeks when the forum is all fully updated it will continuously run each time a 3rd party image is displayed here and save it to forum and replace image on the post with the locally hosted image.
