I rewound an Alvey reel yesterday with 25 Lb (14.4 Kg) yesterday. Inherited four Alvey reels and five rods, one ten foot rod I`m getting new runners / guides put on.

I bought another 4 pack of Gentleman Jack on cokes. Bought 4 last night and drank them all and I got the taste for them now. I don't usually buy pre mixers.....

Nooooooo.
You drink it straight. I stick it in the freezer for a few minutes to chill it down.

Couldn't you get some of the oyta oil and fix yours.

I suspect the bimetallic spring on my hub is stuffed or playing up. Oil function only kicks in at the top end of temperature range.
Instead of mucking around with it, I just got a new one. Just to be sure.

They are very addictive for sure - last time I checked the gentleman's were only a couple extra bux compared to normal as well!
