    Hi Guys thanks for the forum, a wealth of info here to help out Newbie's like myself to 4x4 and more specifically Patrol's
    I have recently purchased a 02 3.0 L patrol I am pretty happy with it.

    anyway looking forward to chatting in the forums anyone here up Cairns way ?

    or get in the habit of checking wheel nuts anytime you have work done
    on the wheels,,,,they come loose $$$$$. Anyway jump in anytime you like

    Thanks for the welcome guys have been busy with work and all my spare time on my one day offs been devoted to doing most of the nads mods and a bit of service work on the donk .
    Have question though it's got what seems to me a load tapping in the top of the engine louder than the clack clack I expected from a desire to me it sounds like a valve has a bit to much clearance other patrols I have heard don't seem to be as loud . Is it easy to check the clearences? I have heard they are shimmed so a case of measure them order the shims correct?
