    UPDATE.

This is the area that I'm transforming.

    IMG_20151008_183644526[1].jpg

When out to Masters and bunnings and wasn't overly happy with what I found.

Decided on a Masport deluxe inbuilt 210, from BBQ's & Outdoors in Thomastown, a with natural gas kit.

    Next was bricks.

    IMG_20151013_125959703[1].jpg

    500 of them.

    Fridge Ebay special.

    IMG_20151022_015724847[1].jpg

Still need to work out bench, run gas line and get sink and taps.

Looking to have it all done for around $2k. Better than buying one of those module sets

Had to put this aside while other things got sorted out.

One for the gas fitters this time.

I've got access to gas from a couple different points. Gas meter, hot water service or ducted heating unit.

The meter and the hot water are near each other, about 25 meters away and the heating is in the ceiling, about 15 metres away.

Does it make a difference from where I get it from? Hot water probably the easiest.

Will try to do a dry run with the bricks during the week, to see how it's all going to go together.

the bbq i pulled down would have filled that area. it was 6m3 of rubble when i finished, it was way to big for my back yard. it should look great when you finish.

if you can run all the water gas in the same place i think it would be easier
if its worth doin its worth over doin

The central heating unit is the shortest run.
Will work it out with a Plumber.
Just wanted to know if any would do.
    Thanks.

Finally had things aline to make a start on bricking. My father in law was a brickie and is more than happy to get out of the house.

A bit stuck on benches, want to use granite and found enough for what I need for $400. Cutting and polishing is another $1000, that's going to wait until I can get it cut and polished for less.

Looks Like you'll be set for summer. The question then will be, to sit around the new BBQ or get out in the Trol!!
