Only a couple of boring ones as I was leading the drive most of the time
I got a few videos of some cars going through Fultons Creek which was bonnet height.

It was funny. We got to the crossing and stopped. It was up a little and had reasonable flow. Walked through and checked it wasn't too deep, bout waist deep at the deepest and was flowing steady, was hard to walk. We all stood around and procrastinated and ummed & arred about what to do, half keen half not so. Decided to attach a strap to mine and Andys and give it a test. Was fine then we went through. . . Absolute pisser, no worries at all!!! Hahaha. Oh well better to be over cautious I guess. . .

How were the tracks into/out of the area, and crossing the river? I'll be solo, 35' muddies, winch, snorkel. I'm thinking of camping up there this weekend (think there's a hut around there).

That would've been freezing, walking through the river! How was Burgoynes and the tracks down to the gorge? Thinking of camping there this weekend, but don't wanna get in and not be able to get out haa

Tracks were fine, pretty rocky and grippy. Saw a hut coming down to the river but didn't pass it, should be easy to find with a bit of exploring. Looked pretty cool wouldn't mind checking it out one day. Wouldn't advise the crossing solo, very good chance it would be up further since we went through. Hut & camping is on the Walhalla side.

That's awesome Rossco, thanks heaps mate. Might leave early friday and head up through Walhalla, Mt Selma, Mt Useful, and across to Burgoynes and Macalaster Gorge and camp there. Hopefully see someone else crossing the river at some point to tag along with and check out Licola while I'm there! Hopefully if I hit Walhalla by 10am, I'll get to Macalaster Gorge before sundown.

Correct me if im wrong but beleave the hut is privately owned to get to it theres a steep track on the point of the second switch back before heading down to the river
id like a bit of sun on it before going down or up
