Finally forked out and bought a Gerni and a few attachments (suds bottle, soft brush etc).
Cleaned the patrol and the amount of mud and clay dislodged was... disconcerting. Clearly I've been neglectful.
I'm happy as it made the job so quick and easy... I'll probably crawl under the car to see what I can dislodge over the weekend.
Get one of the spray nozzles that's on a 90 degree, its great for cleaning under the car
