I'm sorry guys I just realised what I took a screen shot of lol I shouldn't try and multi task while I'm talking to people haha, anyway I can't decide between the m9 or the cs leatherneck I posted up the other day 1418181508265.jpg I am a cs fan tho. Thanks for your advice but What I'm looking for is a leg/hip knife with a clip point that I can use to finish/stick game with while I'm hunting. A few weeks back I got to use my Gerber myth field dress kit but only the smaller general knife which was brilliant for scalping (I'm yet to use the skinner ) and I used the columbia knife I had on the hip but it was a little light and short for what I intended to use it for... I got to use my CS Kuhkri which was blunt at the time and still performed well (its nice and sharp as now lol) but was a little over the top but good fun haha. I started asking about a survival/rambo style knife coz the thought crossed my mind if ever I was lost I might a flint, compass, saw etc but I will look into shoulder bags that are light and can carry a few survival tools and a few rounds of ammo

Have a look at the ebay seller "Airsoft Fighting". TD and myself are both on 1st name basis with the owner as we buy all our molle gear from them and they have some great waist packs that are ideal for what you need.

If you are looking at a survival style knife with compass etc, as I mentioned earlier as did Gecko, you can't go past the knife you posted from the ebay seller Etoto. Comes sharp, has the mini survival kit in it with compass etc BUT you need to look at what else you want out of a basic survival knife / kit.

So many people believe more or most expensive is always best, most cases they are wrong. Providing you have a decent all round knife and a small "grab and go" bag like a waist pack with essential items in it like matches, lighter, flint stick and tinder of some sort, good length of paracord, water purification ability and container to hold water, space blanket (x2 if possible), small led torch and I can list so much more that would fit in a waist pack, that if it hits the fan you can get by for a few days. Worst case scenario, base your kit on a 72hr period.

When I get a chance, I will take pics and list my grab bag waist pack contents so you get an idea.

Which reminds me, need to take pics and list that plus my survival pack contents on the survival thread.

Yikes!!!! Thats some screw set up.

How many steels did you want the pouch to hold? If it is the same size as the ones I have here, I can make up a pouch using them for sizing, guessing youre chasing them with a belt loop?

If you get a disc replacement you'll be laughing IMO.sort of
I've seen models and they are very hi tech modules that move every which way,[Size like a stack of 5x20c bits]

where as I had 3 levels fused together these disc replacement modules are the bee's knees.
Lots of ppl who had a double Steffi fusion like I did had problems with bolts breaking,
and in my case squashing all the nerve ends.
You wont lose movement with disc replacement
