Hey guys. Im looking to put a v8 something in my patrol but Im not sure what. Would prefer diesel but not fussed. What engines go in easily and what gear boxes fit and work with 4wd. Most things I have looked at are just rear wheel drive. Thanks in advance.
you have enough room to fit a LSI and auto not sure about diesel, is it going to be a keeper??

Yeah definitely a keeper. I wanted a diesel for the fuel efficiency but really not fussed. And I would prefer a manual. How do I make that work with 4WD?

Haha as madd as that would be. That is a bit out of my budget...
If going Diesel why not the toyota mechanical H1 diesel bullet proof motor takes well to turbo.
4.2 nissan will cost a bit compared to a H1 which you could get for a song.
I got a complete 60 series for a slab, body was u/s but motor was very good.
