    Angry Intro

Hi all, have jumped on the forum a few times & decided i should get around to joining.i enjoy taking the wife out for a good drive & nice place to have a rest & something to eat, love my photography & now looking for a new Patrol to drive(my wife's station wagon is killing me).
Until recently had a pretty Stock 1997 GQ 4.2 N/A Diesel. i owned it for 7 years. Then some arse hit the back of it at 5am & drove off writing it off.

so now im looking for a new Patrol GQ or GU 4.2L

hope to glean as much info & wisdom from here as i can & maybe even find a new ride.

    cheers

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

no didn't buy it back, should have in hindsight.
i have been thinking of getting a mint 94-97 2.8 or 4.2 & buy a new 4.2 diesel to whack in, though im not mech minded.

id need to find somewhere in Perth who would do this, checking out to Gqs this week but have a few dings some of them.

look forward yes to meeting some people off here at some stage & wisdom.

    cheers
