Disconnect the Battery, remove the tail lights so you can see in side and go for your life. Give it a wipe down with degreaser if your keen but it should be fine mate.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    Cardboard.. Great idea... :-o

I'm kidding by the way. Don't take a burnable product to the tank.
Grab so sheet metal and place it between area being welded and the tank..

My gas tank was empty so I dropped it out

I welded the underneath of the body but couldn't sit under the car and weld aswell as wear a mask
so I took the mask off and found that I was squinting for the next three days and looked like a stoner with the bloodshot eyes all glased and squinty

in short always wear a welding helmet. And safety glasses when grinding haha
