You would need indicators that are visible from the side also, if you added some little marker lights you could leave it like that.

The indicators on the bar have different plugs as well.

I'm still trying to work out what to do actually. I might make a cardboard template up of the top part of the winch to see exactly what my options are.

Cut the wires going to the plugs and splice some tails in long enought to run down to your bar. Get them working make. It's actually not legal to have indicator lenses that don't function. If the bar has them they must be wired for roadworthy.
