    Apart from being illegal, it's a no brainer.
    My experience. Egts dropped, egts cool down quicker, noticeably cleaner oil during changes. Boost is easily managed with some manual boost management ( which i recommend installing regardless of egr block or not )as Mudski mentioned, if that becomes a problem.
    I have the code pop up. But no engine light.

    Really it's like quitting smoking. Your crd will thank you for it.
