When you do and engine swap like this firstly everything the car came with from factory with the diesel need to be swapped over into the petrol motor ( which i think isn't much ). Emissions on the other hand are a little different, as per all engine conversions the emissions ( intake and exhaust ) need to meet the criteria of which ever is newer for example if the motor was made in 2000 but the car was made in 1990 you need to make the car comply with the exhaust gas and emission adr's of 2000.Originally Posted by Drewboyaus
