And in seeing photos lately I would not be suprised if they were supplied by the same guys as the kinugawas.

Do UFI internally modify the housings? Because if you had an untagged UFI and Kinugawa side by side youd be hard pressed to pick the difference.

UFI use a genuine MHI cartridge I believe and genuine rear housing. UFI modify the housing slightly and also the turbine wheel. I'm not aware of them doing a whole lot to the compressor side of things apart from their billet wheel option.
