National check your nuts day

last thing you want to happen is see your wheel fall off and the damage that goes with it.
If you're not up to it get a garage or friend to check for you, it could be expensive

2600$ when it happened to my missus and you can add on 1200 for a alloy gu rim if you want a new one lol

after recent events it would pay all GU owners to check and tighten their nuts to OE specs.
Always re check after 20ks, might save some tears.

Why oh why didnt i recheck my nuts.
Went for an id check for my conversion but had to change from my sunraiser rims to my mags due to tyre size, on my way back the wheel came off my gq. I had to walk 200m to get the dam thing. thankfully a guy stopped in a ute and took the wheel and me back to the car, then began the jacking up and repositioning 5 times before i could get the wheel on. end result. need new rotors, pads and i busted my fiberglass flair. not too bad conidering but money i coulda spent elsewhere.
lesson now lernt ALWAYS pull over after a short drive and recheck you nuts...
