Only 10 minutes from town, but on only 2.5 acres. Close enough to neighbours to hear their bloody dogs howling at night! Ballarat seems like a pretty good place, still finding my way around but I like it, it seems friendly & with a lot more on hand than Traralgon/Morwell. Our new place is ‘suburbia’ compared to our last place, but it’s still ‘country’ complete with a current plague of rabbits. Gonna have to sell my .22 magnum & shotgun & replace with either a standard .22 to use subs, or maybe an air rifle. The current firearms would be loud enough to freak out the neighbours.
