    Still got time, but this is as is stand at the moment.
    Barmah National Park is closed until Monday 2 September 2013. Murray River Park, including Barmah Island west of Barmah NP and Ulupna Island east of Barmah NP, is also closed. Camping is still available at the Barmah Muster Yards.
    Will keep watch. We now have had 3 days 20 plus deg with no rain.

    Nice one mate. Fished there years ago, got nothing but one strike from a marlin after a day of cubing for tuna.

    yep, its a joke really. a little bit of rain and they panic and close it. The river level is up too. but not in flood.

    At $40kg a good cheap day out. Cost me $100 for fuel and bait, a bit of time helping mate wash down boat. Trying to get some pics.

    Its on if anyone wants to fish and meet some members. At a place called Bearii on the Murray 32 k down stream from Tocumal
    off river rd at a place called Daves Camp. more the merrier I say, No Facilities,
    but a caravan park is 7km away, All Welcome

    Rivers officially open here in VIC. Can't wait to get out and hunt some nice browns and rainbows lurking in the my favourite rivers. Any keen fly fisherman here or is that a stupid question!!!
