    How to clean tyres ??

    Hi Guys

    Just bought a set of second hand A/T tyres off ebay .

    Typical used tyres , What is best way to clean the dirt and mud from them ? ( Not installed yet )

    soaking ? degreaser ? what products ? methods ?

    LOL . That's my 4runner . I don't clean it

    But my Patrol is nice . I want to clean its tyres before I put it on

    Pressure wash, get off the lumps.
    Scrubbing brush with truck wash.
    Sponge with dish washing detergent.
    Tyre shine from Supercheep.

    Works for me

    It is now official, we are not quite so sh@t at cricket as we were! Rugby Union is a different matter.

    Ct18 would get alot off or put them on and go for a drive on a beach, have a good day out and sand blast it all off ! Well that's what I'd do... Then maybe Get the missus to clean the spare? Lol

    Soak them good with warm water and Ct18, let it sit on tyres for a while, then rinse off.
    Then apply sillicone spray for that new tyre look.

    soaking ? as in wetting the tyre . or soak as im putting in a pool ?
