Your right mate, its strange why they are mainly pos tho..

I just looked at my factory alloys and they are a pos 10 offset, i even measured to confirm. They are wrapped with 265 70 16, so would it be safe to say they you could possibly get away with a 0 offset if we cant get a high load rated rim ??

too many beers I also got a 5 rim which they charged me $125 for, they were pretty much the same price as steel wheels but I liked the idea of a lighter wheel, as far as durability goes only time will tell, they are load rated to 2500lbs

if you want any others Chris just yell out mate as my GUIV still sits on these rims today. Really like them.
Factory offset is Positive 10. My rims above are Rockcrawler Neg 6 16 x 8 and really please with them and how they look. Like the D shape hole more than the round ole to be honest.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Anywhere from Neg 6 as above to maybe Neg13 but you can see by my along the side pics that any more and you will have to add flexi flares. They look average on a GU.

Me I have gone back the other way.

After running the 16X8 black Kings rims for the past 5 years I have gone back to my 17" alloys for the GU IV and Kimberley Kamper. The offset on the Kings (not sure what they where) resulted in the tyres being on the limit of the flares on the GU, and just sticking out a wee bit from the guards on the Kamper, resulted in a bit of stone chip damage to both.

Just fitted them up with 285/70/17 MT ATZ 4 ribs, pacemaker took a hit with the bill for 8 tyres (6 on the Patrol, 2 on the Kamper), tyres are about $100 dearer on the 17" wheels, but I'm happy with the "original" new look. Must take some picks and post them up on my "home" page.

At $125 a rim...point me in the right direction as that sounds pretty good....although I was looking for 17's, and that will add a bit extra for sure.
