Made up a shovel rack today, just needs a lick of paint and it will be done. No just need to get a hi-lift to put up there now.

    Hey Matt

After a couple of 'very slow speed reversing mishaps' I need a reversing camera. Like yr setup. About the TV side ....is your set up compatable with digital TV?

Any suggestions on brands and retail price estimates for a reversing camera/tv set up like yours? Also, I'm thinking about a similar set up in the pod of my ute, so I can lie in 'bed' and watch a movie. LOL

    Hey Ross
Yeah my setup is using a Full HD Digital card, although you dont get 1080 displayed on the screen due to its size you still get the HD channels. Especially with this new bigger arial that ive got.

As far as cost wise it depends on if your going to install a computer or not, It can be done without though.

This is what you would need i you were doing it WITHOUT a computer

-7" TFT LCD WIDESCREEN COLOUR MONITOR WITH IR REMOTE $159.00
-STB12VHD 12V MINI HD SET TOP BOX WINTAL $95.00
    -Code: [780] -- Digital TV Antenna - SMB - Fibreglass $90.00
-FLUSH MOUNT MINI WATERPROOF CAMERA FOR CARS OR TRUCKS $90.00

Im sure you could probably get some discount by looking around, gives you some indication.
    Cheers Matt

I take it that all the specs you mentioneda couple of posts above, are what's needed for a computer set up. How much in retail dollars?

These prices are from retailers web sites, so should be retail.
