Man of many hats, Customer service supervisor/office manager/logistics-warehouse manager/ estimator and the general fix it person when problems occur and need sorting...............working for a National distributor of electrical bits n pieces, mainly supplying Switchboard builders, electrical contractors, manufacturers, the mining sector and electrical wholesalers.

In my previous life I used to be an electronics tech, playing with high field magnets (the ones used for MRI scanners etc)........... that was great fun, got to play with liquid hydrogen and helium - when the MRI operators ask you to please remove metal objects before entering the room, it's a good idea to do as they say.......... I've seen hammers and power supplies being sucked into these things from 10m away and if you're in there it's gonna hurt a plenty when they hit ya!!!!!! lol

Me, I'm a 'kept man'. ;-) Wife works & I potter around on our 'hobby' farm. I trained as a child psychiatric nurse & family therapist & worked as a child & family therapist for years in the UK & Australia. 15 years ago I became a 'cockie', running a few cattle (breeding & raising 'vealer calves)', sheep, goats & pigs & growing our own vegies. We destocked before we took off around Australia, & since returning haven't restocked, so only a handful of animals at the moment to keep the grass down close to the house. Keeps the freezer full.

This link is a bit out of date now (written before we travelled around Oz) but gives you an idea of how & where I live.

    regards
    Cuppa

I wrote down all the jobs I have had in my life and even I don't believe the list!!
At the moment I am the maintenance supervisor at a cheese processing plant.
It is part hands on and part r+d as well as the supervisory role, and it suits me
perfectly as i head towards retirement.
