We need something practical that will keep us dry when we're changing a tyre, or helping get a mate out of the nure in the rain. It also needs to be smart enough to wear for semi-formal and casual occasions.

More importantly, it needs to be able to hide the average stain from red dirt, and the 'odd' occasion that you miss your mouth and your drink or food spills onto your jacket.

Because we come from various parts of Australia, the inner lining needs to be able to be unzipped and converted to a vest. There will be times when a jacket becomes too hot, but a vest will be perfect to keep us toasty and promote the club.

As most of us have a 'home base' 4wd club, I suggest that we have the jacket embossed with the NP logo and leave enough room so that our home based 4wd club's logo will fit on the jacket somewhere.

I'm happy to go with the flow on this one, and offer my vote when it's decided what's on offer.

Roosco, you put this so eloquently. I agree with everything you said here and insist it is impervious to red wine stains. Other than that, I am happy for anything that fits the bill, so long as it's not up to Patch to select teh colour, or we know it'll be Pink........LMAO

I found this one on the web. If it looks the part, might need a Queenslander to vist their shop and have a look.

Hiall. I just had a visit to a Promo Wear place near my office who does this sort of stuff. Look at the link below. The prices seem reasonable and I have tried on one of teh vests and jackets. Wel made, and the vest has sleeves that zip off. I would be interested in what everyone thinks. The Squeeze Range as shown is Uni-sex (whatever that means) and no, Patch, I did not choose it for the name. It is actually 2 items, being teh vest with zip-off sleeves and the Oxford Jacket that goes over the top. The Vest has a hidden hood as well as the jacket.

The place has teh Artwork and Embroidery facilities as well and I can get a quote if it's what everone is looking for. Over to you, Patch.

Roofy the next time Swanndri send me their specials I will forward it to you, retail is fairly pricey. Although you know what you are paying for.
