Hey Marc, I have a ARB compressor under the bonnet of my Q also had one one the old GU cannot fault them but they are a bit expensive, the reason that I have and had one was to run the front lockers....

Could easily be a simple matter of fuel filters. Try changing the filter and also check if you have a "thimble" filter behind the banjo coupling on the fuel pump itself. If you have then pull it out...

It's just a guess because I've never had that fault myself, but check your earth connection.
