Hi Gbab01, The EGT temps i have stated are post turbo (I have my probe installed in the dump pipe). I have done a bit or research on other forums and most 2.8 owners are getting between 250-450...

Drill and tap from the bottom but use a 1/4 NPT or 1/4 BSPT thread and get a stainless steel swagelok fitting to suit the thermocouple and thread.

The red x is the go mate, about 50mm from the flange on the dump pipe.(Turbo end)

Hey, mine is t'd off the vacuum line that goes to the back of the intercooler and seems to work just fine :D
