Hi mate,
The reference HG35 is to the Ratio and you have a 1:3.54 ratio H233 rear diff.
The Manual says you need a Gear Oil Hypoid LSD (Part number KLD31-14002) or equivalent - API GL-5 SAE140...

Going along the cb install line: just double check the earth used. Some wires in the dash appear like an earth until power is applied.
Try and remove power from cb and test again.
