Nice one ozz, I did hear that coronas have a high content of human urine though! Apparently all the Mexicans brewing pee
In as a eff u America hahahahhhahahaa probably an urban
Myth!? Although that could be the reason for the lemon in the top:-)
mexicans must have a lot of alcohol in their urine. That, or i think i need to see a doctor asap :P
I have hahahahhhahahaa and a blood content in me alcohol
Checking out your QG, and thinking Ive seen this tidy beast before... Im Logan bloke as well, in Dasiy Hill.. not far from you at all mate....
began the drawers. The idea is to do these with a budget of $100. ( i don't like my chances, but it's a plan)
so far, ply = $0
I will put together a cut list, maybe even a template and a cost list.
Keep in mind, i am definantly no cabinet maker :P

it seems you have been a busy boy today mate... loving all the hard work you doing to it!
day 2
Finished all upright cuts.
Began fascia.
Figured i'd put the base back into the patrol, just to triple check before glue / screw. Lucky i did.
The base covered the child seat bolt by 170mm !!.
Re-cut base / uprights / recessesand we're off again :)
# $43.20 so far. Plywood (free), carpet, screws, carpet glue and wood glue all bought.
# $20.15 for stainless drawer handles

Great job there mate, looks brilliant
Nice Design mate! Haven't seen that done before.
I have 6x9's in my Troll atm but I just have them in speaker boxes screwed to a shelf. Pain in the butt!
Very very nice, can I book you in @ the QLD meetup :)
Does the drivers side speaker sit further forward than the passengers??? and why is the board cut shorter on the passenger side????
Yes and yes :P
I played around / got it wrong at first. Having a toddler who loves coming for a drive with dad, i wanted to keep access to the child seat latch. Also the amp is on that face side, which throws of a fair bit of heat. so i um ... gave it room to breathe. ( thats my excuse and i'm stickin with it lol ) :P
I was thinking wether or not to even them up, but a longer drawer on drivers side beat what it looks like/ save dead space so i stuck with it.
cheers
small touch ups tomorrow and drawers complete.
Total cost for drawers = $63.80. plus spent some getting wiring done for stereo

Thats a very nice looking setup mate. Very neat :)
Looks great mate, love the draw set up.
Hey Ozzyboy. great looking drawers you have made. You have inspired me... one question? did you use drawer runners/slides or did you just make the drawer a tight fit??
Thanks Mate
cheers mate. No draw runners as i tried keeping a budget under 100 bux. the formply slides laminate on laminate.
what i did was keep the drawers free from the side walls by approx a inch both sides, incase i changed mind and wanted to run slides / bearrings.
The face of the drawer ( where the handles are) i made tight to stop from sliding (mostly works :P )
